Jan Allen
CEO - Founder
As a 28 year veteran working in the payroll profession Jan recognized a lack of support available within the industry, and saw an opportunity to create a company where various types of client-side payroll support could be provided on a consultative basis. In 1999, she founded PayTech, a Payroll and HCM Consulting Company that guides companies through change management. Jan is committed to building and maintaining lasting partner relationships, strong company performance, operational efficiency, and client satisfaction. She is a dedicated leader that focuses on strategic planning for the growth and success of PayTech.

Nick Buckley
President
Joining PayTech in 2011, Nick has seen the company through 5x growth in revenue as well as overseen multiple service expansions over the last decade. Nick frequently defers praise to the incredible leadership team he is surrounded by and promotes an open and transparent culture where honest feedback can be given and received.
Before his role at PayTech, Nick served as the Director of Business Development for a telecom firm for eight years overseeing annual revenues of $8M. He secured an SBA loan, developed in-house inventory systems and processes from the ground up, as well as sales relationships with many of the top 10 wireless carriers in the US.

Amy Lemann
Vice President of Human Resources
With over 25 years of human resources experience in the public sector and HCM industries, Amy has extensive hands-on experience leading HR strategic initiatives in the areas of Talent Acquisition, Employee Engagement and retention, Training, and Total Rewards. Joining PayTech in 2006, Amy partners with the executive leadership team at PayTech in defining and developing organizational objectives while leading the human resource team to align the HR function with these initiatives. As a result of her consistent achievements, Amy is a proud recipient of the PayTech President’s Club award.
Amy holds Bachelor of Art degrees from the Leeds Business School, University of Colorado at Boulder and is a member of SHRM. Amy resides in Castle Rock with her husband, son, and Husky/Malamute fur baby. In her spare time, she enjoys camping trips in the family RV and supporting her son with his passion for Taekwondo.

Patrick Robinson
Vice President of Finance and Strategic Business Operations
As Vice President of Finance and Strategic Business Operations, Patrick sits at the center of PayTech’s most important decisions, leading the finance, accounting, and strategy teams that guide the company’s direction. Since joining PayTech in 2022, he has transformed finance from a reporting function into a driver of results, delivering the analytics and insight that shape how the company grows, operates, and competes. That impact across the business earned him the PayTech President’s Club award.
With more than ten years of financial leadership at publicly traded companies across the energy and telecommunications industries, he has taken on work ranging from SEC reporting and technical accounting to steering large capital programs and complex revenue modeling. He pairs that experience with a sharp focus on process, continually reengineering how work gets done to make PayTech faster, more disciplined, and better positioned for growth.
A graduate of Oklahoma State University with a bachelor’s degree in Finance, he is currently completing an Executive MBA at Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.

Valerie Sickels
Vice President of Private Equity & Global Service Delivery
Valerie Sickels leads the company’s private equity and global operations, with responsibility for divisions in the United States and Canada. She also oversees the company’s ongoing service expansion efforts in EMEA, APAC and LATAM. In her previous roles at PayTech, she served as Director and Manager of Private Equity as well as Sr. Project Manager serving PE and global clients. Valerie is responsible for driving the strategy, growth, and services of the Private Equity & Canadian divisions as well as the company’s increasing development and expansion efforts into global markets. As a result of her consistent achievements, Valerie is a three-time winner of the PayTech President’s Club award.
Before joining PayTech in November 2007, Valerie consulted as a project manager. Serving the Healthcare and Finance industries, she worked with HR and Payroll teams across the US. Early in her career Valerie worked as an entrepreneur owning a small business. Valerie holds a master’s degree in organizational management, and a bachelor’s degree in management and accounting.

Anders Timberg
Vice President of Revenue
Anders leads PayTech’s revenue strategy, overseeing sales, marketing, and strategic partnerships. With a proven track record in driving revenue expansion and building high-performing teams, Timberg will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with PayTech’s mission and long-term goals. His leadership will guide the sales and marketing departments, ensuring accountability, innovation, and professional development across the organization.
Before joining PayTech in 2024, Anders held multiple leadership roles focused on Global partner strategy and growth, business development, and operational excellence, with a passion for building scalable, customer and alliance strategies.

Joanne Wagner
Director of Global Sales, Private Equity, and Partner Development
Joining the PayTech team in 2014, Joanne serves as the Director of Global Sales, Private Equity, and Partner Development. As a result of her consistent achievements, Joanne is a proud recipient of the PayTech Circle of Excellence award and the PayTech President’s Club award. Prior to PayTech, Joanne worked in various software sales roles, as well as earning an International MBA from the University of Denver. As a result of her consistent achievements, Joanne is a proud recipient of the PayTech Circle of Excellence award and a two-time winner of the PayTech President’s Club award.

Susan Wann
Director of US Sales & Partner Development
Joining PayTech in 2018, Susan serves as the Director of US Sales & Partner Development and is the recipient of the PayTech Circle of Excellence award and the PayTech’s President’s club award.
Prior to joining PayTech, Susan held regional sales and leadership roles in the HCM, telecommunications and print solutions industries. She achieved multiple President’s Club awards, earned Top District Partner/Referral distinctions and developed client loyalty programs that impacted overall satisfaction and retention. Susan holds a Bachelor of Arts in Management from Saint Mary’s College in California.
Susan grew up in Southern California, spent 20 years in the Bay Area and now resides in Castle Pines, CO with her son and two Doodles, Sam and Lucy. Susan enjoys golf, hosting game-night dinner parties and doing voiceover work.

Rachel Holland
Director, Global HCM & Partner Service Delivery
Rachel Holland is a dynamic HCM leader with more than 25 years of experience driving enterprise-scale transformation across payroll, human resources, workforce management, and technology implementation. Rachel is known for building elite delivery teams, orchestrating complex HCM transformations, and forging the strategic partnerships that fuel scalable, lasting client impact.
Since joining PayTech in 2014, she has played an instrumental role in evolving multiple practice areas and establishing delivery frameworks that ensure implementation quality and client success. A two-time recipient of the PayTech President’s Club Award, Rachel is recognized for her commitment to operational excellence, talent development, and service innovation that positions PayTech as a provider of choice in the global HCM marketplace.

Kyle Romero-Rogal
Director, Global Payroll Service Delivery
Since joining PayTech in 2015, Kyle has played a key role in shaping and scaling service delivery across payroll consulting and HCM project management. As Director of Global Payroll Service Delivery, he leads the strategy, methodology, and execution of services designed to help clients optimize payroll operations, manage complexity, and drive business outcomes. Kyle is known for building high-performing teams and trusted partnerships with clients, ensuring consistent delivery and a strong focus on quality and client experience. His leadership has contributed to the continued evolution of PayTech’s service models and growth strategy, earning him recognition as a two-time recipient of the PayTech President’s Club award (2019 and 2024).
With more than three decades of experience across payroll, human resources, and project management, Kyle brings a comprehensive understanding of the challenges and demands facing organizations today. He began his career in payroll in 1994 and has been a Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) since 2006. Prior to joining PayTech, he held leadership roles across multiple industries where he developed deep expertise in payroll operations, team leadership, and service delivery. This broad foundation enables Kyle to provide practical solutions together with strategic guidance that align with the evolving demands of today’s dynamic business environments, supporting client growth strategies and navigating ever-changing regulatory requirements across organizations ranging from small and mid-size U.S.-based companies to large global and enterprise-level clients.

Robert Martinek
Director of Enterprise Solutions
Robert joined PayTech in 2025 and is part of PayTech’s Revenue Leadership team responsible for driving and identifying PayTech’s market expansion, partnerships and revenue streams. Robert leads mid-to-longer term growth strategies and ensures they are aligned with PayTech’s overall business direction. Furthermore, he leads client pursuit teams and defines new and improved Go-To-Market Offerings and architects Offering Solutions. Robert provides strategic direction to operational Practice Leadership to ensure an appropriate industrialized offering approach can be realized how PayTech’s consulting services go to market.
