CEO - Founder
As a 28 year veteran working in the payroll profession Jan recognized a lack of support available within the industry, and saw an opportunity to create a company where various types of client-side payroll support could be provided on a consultative basis. In 1999, she founded PayTech, a Payroll and HRIS Consulting Company that guides companies through change management. Jan is committed to building and maintaining lasting partner relationships, strong company performance, operational efficiency, and client satisfaction. She is a dedicated leader that focuses on strategic planning for the growth and success of PayTech.
Joining PayTech in 2011, Nick is responsible for the management of all financial activities, and the strategic direction of corporate functions and oversees all marketing activity. He works with all departments to improve both financial and workload efficiency.
Prior to his role at PayTech, Nick served as the Director of Business Development for a telecom firm for 8 years overseeing annual revenues of $8M. He secured an SBA loan, developed in house inventory systems and processes from the ground up as well as sales relationships with many of the top 10 wireless carriers in the US.
Senior Vice President of Corporate Strategy
Joining PayTech in 2006, Karen is responsible for developing PayTech’s long term goals and strategic objectives, including identifying, analyzing, enhancing and supporting corporate and internal department initiatives. In addition, she has responsibility for developing specialized services globally, researching new and enhancing existing partnerships and the growth of the Private Equity/Merger & Acquisitions team.
Karen has over 25 years of HRIS/Payroll project management and consulting experience, specializing in areas such as system implementations, Merger and Acquisitions, system design & development, and process improvement in numerous industries to include, financial, high tech and hospitality companies such as Marriott International, Janus Capital Group and National Computer Systems.
Senior Vice President of Operations
Joining PayTech in 2006, Linda leads PayTech’s US operational activities. She develops future strategies and executes current strategies that will strengthen, grow, and extend PayTech’s services and delivery to our partners and clients. She is focused on employee, client, and partner engagement, overseeing all operational aspects of business acquisition, employee retention, and providing exceptional service delivery.
Linda has over 35 years of industry experience in leadership, process management, HRIS, project management, and consulting. Her background includes various HCM operational leadership roles directing projects, initiatives, and teams of consultants located throughout the US.
Vice President of Partner Technology Services
Joining PayTech in 2015, Lucinda is responsible for leading the strategic growth, development, and service delivery of the Partner Technology Services teams. She places focus on creating strong partner and client relationships while developing innovative and practical solutions that align with client organizational culture and business needs.
Lucinda has over 20 years of human resources and HCM/payroll project management experience in medium and large corporations. Before joining PayTech, she held leadership positions in the insurance and public sector industries. Lucinda holds Bachelor and Master of Arts degrees from the University of Colorado and is SPHR and CCP certified.
Vice President of Private Equity and Global Services
Valerie Sickels leads the company’s private equity and global operations, with responsibility for divisions in the United States and Canada. She also oversees the company’s ongoing service expansion efforts in EMEA, APAC and LATAM. In her previous roles at PayTech, she served as Director and Manager of Private Equity as well as Sr. Project Manager serving PE and global clients. Valerie is responsible for driving the strategy, growth, and services of the Private Equity & Canadian divisions as well as the company’s increasing development and expansion efforts into global markets.
Before joining PayTech in November 2007, Valerie consulted as a project manager. Serving the Healthcare and Finance industries, she worked with HR and Payroll teams across the US. Early in her career Valerie worked as an entrepreneur owning a small business. Valerie holds a master’s degree in organizational management, and a bachelor’s degree in management and accounting.
Director of Human Resources
Joining the PayTech team in 2006, Amy has extensive hands-on experience leading HR initiatives including Strategy, Talent Acquisition, Employee Engagement & Retention, Learning & Development and Total Rewards. Working with the leadership team at PayTech in defining and developing organizational objectives, Amy provides strategic direction and leads the human resource team to align the HR function with these initiatives.
Amy has over 20 years of human resources and prior to joining PayTech, has she held positions within the public sector industry. Amy holds Bachelor of Art degrees from the University of Colorado and is a member of SHRM.
Director of Consulting Services
Joining PayTech in 2015, Kyle is responsible for managing and driving the strategic direction, methodology, and service delivery of the Consulting Services teams throughout the United States. He is a proven leader with vast experience building and maintaining valuable, trusting, and long-term relationships with our clients, partners, and employees, ensuring client satisfaction and quality assurance. Kyle is committed to excellence, supporting and leading key initiatives to drive PayTech’s continued growth strategies.
Before joining PayTech, Kyle had extensive experience leading Payroll, Project Management, and HRIS teams within various industries. He became fully immersed in his Payroll and HRIS career in 1994 and has been a Certified Payroll Professional since 2006.
Director of Project Management
Joining PayTech in 2005, Lisa is responsible for managing and driving the strategic direction, methodology and service delivery of the Project Management teams throughout the United States. She is also responsible for developing strong client and partner relationships ensuring client satisfaction and quality assurance.
Lisa has over 20 years in the areas of Human Resources, Employee Management, Payroll, and Project Management. She has extensive experience with all aspects of PayTech’s business and how we build trusted relationships with our partners, clients, and employees at all levels. Her team of experts are fully dedicated to PayTech’s commitment to excellence.
Director of Sales & Partner Development
Joining PayTech in 2018, Susan is responsible for building and expanding strategic growth and sales objectives. Utilizing her 20 years of operational and sales experience, she focuses on partner development and client expansion for US-based businesses and their global employees.
Before joining PayTech, Susan held regional sales and leadership roles in the HCM/HRIS, telecommunications, and distribution industries. Susan holds a Bachelor of Arts in Management from Saint Mary’s College of California, and her mission is to champion our role as a Trusted Advisor to partners and clients.
